The textures in this salad are amazing - from the crunch of the nuts to the dried fruits. I added peaches and kiwis in this recipe and they were great. The dressing is what really sets this recipe apart. I loved the rice vinegar and the orange juice combo. The variety of the greens and fruits will be a fresh addition to your table. How to Make Spring Salad with Orange Dressing

Step-by-Step

  1. To make sugared almonds, melt butter in skillet, add sugar, then almonds. Stir until sugar is dissolved and almonds are coated and toasted.
  2. Mix all salad ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Mix dressing ingredients. I use a quart canning jar with a lid to shake it up well. Mix well until sugar is dissolved.
