I am always asked to bring this salad to get togethers. It's my Mom's recipe and a family favorite.

  • 2 10 oz
    bags fresh spinach, washed & drained
  • 1/2 lb
    bean sprouts, fresh
  • 2 8 oz
    cans water chestnuts, drained
  • 10-12 slice
    bacon, cooked crisply, crumbled
  • 3
    hard cooked eggs, diced

  • 1 c
  • 3/4 c
  • 1/3 c
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
  • 1
    medium onion, diced
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Spinach Salad


  1. Mix all dressing ingredients in blender or with electric mixer until well blended; chill. This dressing is best if made the day before.
  2. Put spinach, sprouts & water chestnuts in large bowl;toss until evenly distributed. Right before serving pour on dressing & toss until coated. Add bacon & eggs & gently toss again.
