A spinach salad chock full of flavor!

  • 12 oz
    fresh spinach
  • 3 oz
    parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 c
    garlic and onion croutons
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/3 c
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/8 tsp

How to Make Spinach Salad 2, Grandma W


  1. Cut bacon into 1" pieces. Cook until crisp. Drain, reserve 1/4 c drippings in skillet. Stir in egg, water, sugar, vinegar and pepper, simmer 10 min. Toss torn spinach, bacon, cheese, mushrooms and croutons. Pour dressing on top. Toss and serve immediately.
