speedy steak salad
I had left-over steak (T-bone too big for two of us to finish)! So threw this together based on my memory of a great "black and blue" salad at a local restaurant!

Ingredients
- 5 ounces medium rare steak, sliced thinly
- - garlic salt
- 4 cups iceberg lettuce, torn into pieces
- 1/4 cup sweet onion, chopped
- 2 large mushrooms, sliced (baby bella or button)
- 2 tablespoons blue cheese crumbles
- 1/2 - avocado, diced
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegarette dressing
- - garlic croutons (optional)
How To Make speedy steak salad

Step 1Warm steak briefly in a hot cast iron pan. Sprinkle with garlic salt.

Step 2In two large salad bowls, place 1/2 of all the other ingredients

Step 3If not using croutons, serve with toasted garlic bread.
