This is my favorite lettuce salad and is so good for potlucks or any type of get together. ENJOY!

  • ·
    shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    green peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    spanish onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg
    frozen peas (10 oz.)
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise (do not substitute)
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 6 oz
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8
    strips bacon, fried and crumbled

How to Make Seven Layer Lettuce Salad


  1. Fill a large salad bowl half full of shredded lettuce (sliced like cabbage). Add in layers, the following: celery, green peppers, onions, and peas. Mix mayonnaise and sugar together and spread over top of all. Cover top of mayonnaise with cheese and then the bacon. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. YUMMY!
