Had this at a holiday office party. It was so easy to make when I was given this recipe I had to share.

Ingredients

  • 1 - lettuce head
  • 1 - red onion, sliced into rings
  • 6 - celery stalk, sliced thin
  • 2 cans water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 package petite peas, frozen
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • - **cheddar cheese, shredded (your desired amount)

How To Make salad in 24 hours

  • Step 1
    Layer ingrediants in a bowl (a clear bowl makes a nice presintation) as listed but not past the mayonnaise.
  • Step 2
    In a seprate bowl combine the mayonnaise and sugar. Mix until the sugar is dissolved and then pour over the salad.
  • Step 3
    Top with the chedder cheese (use as much as you like but make sure there is nothing showing through it)
  • Step 4
    Let it set in your refrigerator over night and then serve.
