Ingredients

  • 16 romaine hearts, cleaned and trimmed
  • 4 radishes, thinly sliced
  • LIME VINAIGRETTE
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt
  • SEASONED BREAD CRUMBS
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • 1 lime, zested

How To Make romaine heart salad, lime, and fish sauce vinaigrette

  • Step 1
    Make the bread crumbs by adding all the ingredients to a small saucepan over low heat and cooking until browned. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    For the dressing, mix the lime juice, garlic, fish sauce, honey, and Dijon mustard and mix well. Add the olive oil and mix vigorously. Taste and add salt.
  • Step 3
    For the salad, place 4 romaine heads on a plate, top each with radish slices, the add the vinaigrette. Top with the bread crumbs.
