Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 - iceberg lettuce head
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 package good seasonings italian dressing
- 6 - artichoke hearts
- 1 - diced avocado
- 1/2 cup toasted bread cubes
- 1/2 cup sliced, good mushrooms
How To Make mother's green salad

Step 1Tear and clean lettuce and spinach - put in refrigerator to chill

Step 2Toast sesame seeds in pan on stove top until light brown

Step 3Cut up avocado and artichoke hearts into med size pieces

Step 4Make salad dressing according to package directions

Step 5Toast stale bread and cut into bite size croûtons - season to taste with herbs (Italian blend) and garlic salt

Step 6Toss all ingredients together when ready to serve. Lettuce will wilt if you do this ahead of time.

Step 7Serve on cold plates.
