This is one of our favorite salads ... good because you can make ahead of time, travels well ... always a favorite of everyone at cookouts! This is a easy salad to make only half for 2-3 people.

Ingredients
- 1 - head lettuce or pkg. of shredded iceburg or any lettuce mix you like
- 1 - finely chopped green or red or orange pepper
- 1 small finely chopped sweet onion
- 1 package frozen green peas
- 6-8 slices crisp fried bacon (crumbled) or pkg'd cooked crumbled bacon
- 4 - hard boiled eggd, chopped fine
- 1 1/2 cups cheese, shredded (i use colby-monteray jack)
- DRESSING
- 1 cup miracle whip
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sugar -or- 2 tbs splenda
How To Make layered salad

Step 1Layer thru peas ... spread dressing on top

Step 2layer rest of ingredients ...

Step 3cover with lid or wrap,refrigerate 2-24 hours.
