This is such a delicious salad, great for family picnics and BBQ's. I have also added chopped hard boiled eggs to this recipe and it's a great addition. You can virtually add or subtract any veggies you like.

Ingredients
- 6 cups romaine lettuce, washed and sliced
- 1/2 pound grape tomatos, halved
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 - ripe avocados, peeled and diced
- 1 large red onion, peeled and sliced
- 1 pound cooked medium shrimp, peeled and devained
- 1 cup chunky blue cheese dressing ( i like marzetti's)
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
How To Make layered cobb salad

Step 1Place sliced lettuce in the bottom of a 14 cup glass salad bowl or trifle dish. Pack down slightly

Step 2On top of lettuce, neatly layer tomatoes, chicken, avocados, red onion and shrimp. Press down lightly to compress.

Step 3Spread with dressing. refrigerate at least and hour. Sprinkle with bacon just before serving.
