black eyed peas, drained

celery, chopped fine

lettuce head, shredded
8 slice
bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

How to Make Layered Black Eyed Pea Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Layer in a clear glass bowl: lettuce, drained black eyed peas, celery, and onion in this order.
  • 2Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, and sugar. Whisk until smooth and the spread over the salad.
  • 3Top with green onions, crumbled bacon, and grated cheese. Refrigerate at least 12 hours before serving. Combine together before serving.
