A do ahead salad that never seems to wear out its welcome.

1 can(s)
artichoke hearts, cut in small pieces, 14 oz
Italian dressing
head lettuce
1 c
grated cheddar cheese
7 - 10 slice
bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
salt and pepper to taste


1Marinate artichokes in small amount of dressing. Wash lettuce leaves and pat dry. Chill lettuce, cheese and bacon.
2In large salad bowl, tear lettuce in pieces sand mix with artichokes, cheese and bacon, Add dressing to taste, salt and pepper, toss and serve. Must be served cold. Serves 12 to 15
