heirloom tomato-fresh peach salad
Now that the availability of fresh heirloom tomatoes from the garden and farmers' market is just around the corner here I am anticipating all the delicious recipes to try! From Family Fun June/July 2016 issue with small changes. *Very important*- fresh, in season fruit and greens, please. (One head of Bibb lettuce specified in the original recipe.)

Ingredients
- - heirloom lettuce/greens either one variety or a mix of (rinsed well and spun dried)
- 2 large heirloom tomatoes, sliced or cut into wedges
- 2 - fresh peaches, pitted and sliced (when available i always opt for white peaches or "doughnut" peaches)
- 4 ounces crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make heirloom tomato-fresh peach salad

Step 1In a large serving bowl or platter place the greens.

Step 2Combine the tomatoes, peaches, olive oil in a non-reactive mixing bowl; toss with the extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Step 3Arrange the tomato/peach mixture on the greens and serve.
