I first had a version of this salad at my friend's house in 1967. Her mom had gotten the recipe from a restaurant that was famous for it. This version includes artichoke hearts.

Ingredients
- 6 cups lettuce, torn
- 4-6 - artichoke hearts
- 1/2 cup ripe olives
- 2 ounces anchovy fillets (optional)
- 1 cup grape tomatoes
- DRESSING
- 1 1/2 cups light mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chives
- 2 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 1 tablespoon tarragon leaves, crushed (if not using tarragon vinegar)
- 4 - anchovy fillets, chopped
- 1 - green onion

Step 1Combine all salad ingredients in large bowl.
