dont remember where I got this but have been making it for years.

    head of romaine lettuce
  • 1
    pound of fresh bean sprouts
  • 2 oz
    can water chestnuts (sliced)
  • 8
    slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbles
  • 3
    hard cooked eggs, sliced
  • 1
    can shrimp (i have used artifical crab)
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make foo yong salad


  1. combine all salad ingredients.
  2. make dressing: 1/2cup oil 1/3 cup vinegar 1Tablespoon Soya Sauce 2Tblesp sugar 1/4 tsp ginger I usually omit ginger) shake well chill and pour over salad Enjoy
