I got this recipe in the mid 1970s in San Antonio, Texas where I took a cooking class with Eva. This has remained a favorite of my for 40 years.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- - lettuce
- - sliced celery
- - chopped parsley
- - almonds, slivered
- - toasted sesame seeds
How To Make eva's tossed green salad

Step 1To make the dressing boil the sugar, vinegar and salt. Off heat add the oil and pepper. Allow to cool before dressing the salad.
