I got this recipe in the mid 1970s in San Antonio, Texas where I took a cooking class with Eva. This has remained a favorite of my for 40 years.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • - lettuce
  • - sliced celery
  • - chopped parsley
  • - almonds, slivered
  • - toasted sesame seeds

How To Make eva's tossed green salad

  • Step 1
    To make the dressing boil the sugar, vinegar and salt. Off heat add the oil and pepper. Allow to cool before dressing the salad.
