I got this recipe in the mid 1970s in San Antonio, Texas where I took a cooking class with Eva. This has remained a favorite of my for 40 years.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
sugar
3 Tbsp
vinegar
1 tsp
salt
1/4 c
vegetable oil
1/4 tsp
pepper
lettuce
sliced celery
chopped parsley
almonds, slivered
toasted sesame seeds

How to Make Eva's Tossed Green Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1To make the dressing boil the sugar, vinegar and salt. Off heat add the oil and pepper. Allow to cool before dressing the salad.
