Ingredients

  • DRESSING
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 6 anchovy filets
  • 1 tablespoon anchovy oil
  • CROUTONS
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 slices sourdough bread cubed
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • SALAD
  • 3 heads romaine lettuce, chopped
  • shaved Parmesan, for serving

How To Make easy caesar salad

  • Step 1
    To make the dressing, add the mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and anchovy filets to a food processor. While processing, drizzle in the olive oil and anchovy oil. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Place in the fridge.
  • Step 2
    Add the olive oil to a large pan. Add the bread pieces and season with paprika. Stir and turn the croutons until browned and crispy. Set aside in a bowl and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Step 3
    Mix the romaine with the dressing. Top with shaved Parmesan and croutons.
