This has such a unique flavor and is sure to stand out from the crowd!! A co-worker brought this in and I had to have the recipe and I have been making it ever since!! It is so refreshing!! I have also made this as a dip instead of a salad and I enjoyed that too!!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Wow, this salad knocked our socks off! It has an unusual - and delicious - flavor thanks to the blending of the cumin and sugar. Make it a meal by simply adding some grilled chicken! The Test Kitchen

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1/2 bunch
    scallions
  • 1/4 tsp

  • 1 pkg
    romaine lettuce salad

How to Make Cranberry Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients and chill for 1 hr.
  2. Toss with fresh salad of your choice. I have eaten this without any salad dressing or with raspberry vinaigrette, they are both good. You could probably use many different salad dressings with a little experimenting!!
