this is an awesome easy salad. i keep dressing on the side because lettuce will wilt if you mix it in.

Ingredients

  • DRESSING

  • 1 c
    grape seed or canola oil
  • 1/3 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    poppyseeds
  • MIX THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS IN SHAKER OR BLENDER

  • SALAD

  • 1 bunch
    chopped green onion or less to taste
  • 1 pkg
    green and red leaf lettuce
  • 1 pkg
    swiss cheese (cubed)
  • 1 can(s)
    cashews, salted (to taste)
  • 1
    green apple (chopped)
  • 1 1/2
    handfuls of dried cherries/or cranberries

  1. combine all ingredients in order.keep dressing separate, pour over individual servings
