    mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c
    chili sauce
  • SALAD

  • 2
    tomatoes, cut in wedges
  • 8 c
    salad greens, torn
  • 1/4 c
    green onion, sliced
  • 2
    cucumber, sliced thin to preference
  • 4 slice
    salami, cut in strips
  • 1/2 c
    turkey, cooked and cubed
  • ·
    parsley, minced

How to Make California Chef's Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine mayonnaise, salt, black pepper, red pepper, lemon juice, ketchup, worcestershire and chili sauce. Chill.
  2. To make salad, toss tomatoes, greens, green onions and cucumbers together. Place in deep salad bowl and top with salami and turkey.
  3. Serve dressing separately in sauce bowl, sprinkled with parsley.
  4. SUBSTITUTIONS: May substitute thinly sliced cooked ham for salami, and chicken instead of the turkey.
