I have had this recipe for years and it has revolved throughout my family. It is a favorite to serve for all types of get togethers and gets many praises. It is at the top of the request list of copies at all dinner parties.

Ingredients For baby greens/fennel/dried cheeries/blue cheese

  • 10 oz
    mixed baby greens
  • 1 md
    fennel bulb, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c
    dried cherries
  • 4 oz
    crumbed blue cheese
  • 6 Tbsp
    extra-virgin olive oil, plus more to taste
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar, plus more to taste
  • salt and papper to taste

How To Make baby greens/fennel/dried cheeries/blue cheese

  • 1
    Place the first four ingredients in a large bowl. When ready to serve the salad, toss with 6 TBS olive oil and a generous sprinkling of salt and papper. Taste, adding more oil, salt or pepper if needed. Add vinegar, toss to coat, adding more, if necessary, to taste. Serve immediately
