I have been making this years. My grandmother and my mom made it before me. My Dad love this salad.He always wanted me to make it because he like the way i cut the lettuce up.You can buy the ingredients in the super market but you can't beat the home grown vegies

1 large bunch of leafy lettuce
5 - green onions chopped
5 - radishes whtie or the round ones sliced thin
4or5 slices bacon cooked crispy save drippings
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil

How To Make arkansas spring salad

Step 1

Cut lettuce up fine add onions radishes ,sprinle salt over salad crumble bacon over the top. drizzle vinegar all over salad. Mix bacon drippings and olive heat to boiling Pour all over salad and toss Delish.

Step 2

Wait untill you are ready to serve to pour on the bacon drippings and olive oil we love this with pinto beans and cornbread
