Ingredients
- 12 ounces bag of iceberg salad mix
- 1/2 cup red onions, chopped
- 1 cup celery
- 1 small bag of frozen peas, sprinkled over celery
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese(not finely grated)
- 1 pound crisp bacon, crumbled
How To Make 24 hour/seven-layer salad

Step 1Place salad mix, red onions, celery and peas in the bottom of a large glass salad bowl. Mix sugar with mayonnaise to create salad dressing, and spread mixture over peas as if it were icing. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, followed by bacon.

Step 2Cover dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Mix when ready to serve.
