watergate salad, mom's version
This is an old recipe that seems to appear in every church cookbook I have ever seen. My Mom loved it and I am posting it here for her cookbook. This recipe is supposed to have originated at the Watergate hotel in Washington, DC.

Ingredients
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 can (16 ounces) undrained, crushed pineapple, canned in own juice
- 1 cup pecans, in pieces
- 1 small box pistachio pudding
- 1 - (9 ounce) container whipped topping, thawed
How To Make watergate salad, mom's version

Step 1Mix all ingedients together and pour into a serving bowl. Refrigerate several hours before serving. You may like to put more whipped topping on this just before serving.
