Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped apple
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup seedless red or green grapes, halved
- 2/3 cup cool whip
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
How To Make waldorf salad

Step 1Toss apples with lemon juice.

Step 2Stir in celery, nuts, raisins and grapes.

Step 3Combine cool whip and mayonnaise and spread over top of apples and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Step 4Cover and chill for 2-24 hours. Before serving fold dressing into fruit mixture.

Step 5Spreading the dressing over the fruit mixture before it is chilled seals out air and helps keep the fruit fresh longer.
