Quick and easy and I like the cool whip flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped apple
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup seedless red or green grapes, halved
  • 2/3 cup cool whip
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

How To Make waldorf salad

  • Step 1
    Toss apples with lemon juice.
  • Step 2
    Stir in celery, nuts, raisins and grapes.
  • Step 3
    Combine cool whip and mayonnaise and spread over top of apples and sprinkle with nutmeg.
  • Step 4
    Cover and chill for 2-24 hours. Before serving fold dressing into fruit mixture.
  • Step 5
    Spreading the dressing over the fruit mixture before it is chilled seals out air and helps keep the fruit fresh longer.
