Ingredients For waldorf salad

  • 6 lg
    apples, golden delicious
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/3 c
    crushed walnuts
  • 1/3 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/3 c
    fresh red seedless grapes (optional)

How To Make waldorf salad

  • 1
    peel and dice apples, toss with lemon juice in medium sized bowl.
  • 2
    pour walnut pieces into a plastic bag, crush with a can or rolling pin.
  • 3
    add walnuts and mayo to apple mixture, toss to coat. keep refridgerated until ready to serve.
