Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons powdered ginger
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 2 - oranges, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, cubed
  • 1 cup strawberries, halved

How To Make turkish fruit salad ( mvye salata)

  • Step 1
    Dissolve the ginger in the brandy.
  • Step 2
    Combine orange, pineapple and strawberries in a bowl.
  • Step 3
    Pour brandy over the fruits, basting them for a few moments. Cover the bowl and chill 3 hours.
  • Step 4
    Arrange the salad on lettuce leaves and serve.
