Ingredients

  • 1 - fresh pineapple
  • 4 - bananas, sliced
  • 3 - large red apples, unpeeled and coarsely chopped
  • 3 - oranges, peeled, sectioned, and seeded
  • 2 cups seedless green grapes, halved
  • - sweet and sour fruit dressing
  • DRESSING INGREDIENTS
  • 4 - egg yolks
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar

How To Make sweet and sour fruit salad

  • Step 1
    Cut pineapple lengthwise into quarters; cut pulp away from skin.
  • Step 2
    Cut pulp into bite-size chunks, discarding core.
  • Step 3
    Combine fruit in a large bowl; add sweet-and-sour fruit dressing and toss gently. Cover and chill.
  • Step 4
    SWEET AND SOUR FRUIT DRESSING: Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Stir in vinegar. Cool.
