This is a light refreshing dessert as a STRAWBERRY TART or you can omit the graham cracker tart shells and have a beautiful STRAWBERRY FRUIT SALAD. It is low in calories, fat, and carbs and is a good source of protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8oz. packages lite frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 4 - 6oz. packages strawberry yogurt, light or regular
  • 1 cup walnut halves, chopped fine
  • 2 cups strawberries, fresh, hulled and chopped in small pieces
  • 2 packages graham cracker, mini tart shells
  • 5-6 drops - red food coloring
  • 1/4 cup splenda-blend or you can use splenda granulated to taste

How To Make strawberry tart - diabetic friendly

  • Step 1
    IN: Large mixing bowl mix all ingredients with exception of individual graham cracker tarts shells, until well blended. SPOON: Mixture into individual graham cracker tart shells. PLACE: Tarts in covered container. FREEZE OR REFRIGERATE: Until ready to serve. IF: Frozen remove from freezer 15-20 minutes before serving. SERVE & ENJOY!
