This is a must for every Family Reunion event. People wait in line for this. Very good.
Use Daisy brand sour cream if you have it in your area. It is the best by far. Also, save the fruit juices. Use it to make jello next time. Hope you like it as much as everyone here does.

Ingredients

    15 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
  • ·
    20 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained
  • ·
    16 oz. can sliced pears, drained, cut in chunks
  • ·
    17 oz. can fruit cocktail, drained
  • ·
    10 oz. jar maraschino cherries, drained
  • ·
    12 oz. tub cool whip
  • ·
    2 cups sour cream (16 oz.)
  • ·
    1/2 cup sugar
  • ·
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ·
    dash salt
  • ·
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts

How to Make Sour Cream Fruit Bowl

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all the fruit in a large bowl. In another bowl, combine cool whip, sour cream, sugar, lemon juice and salt; fold into fruit mixture. Chill. Just before serving, stir in nuts.
