Snicker Salad

Megan Stewart

We have the girls in GS camp bring a cup of their favorite fruit to add to the bowl. I cut and freeze the snickers so the chocolate doesn't melt, and take the cool whip in my cooler to thaw before we make this. It is my version of GS Gorp, with my favorite thing...SNICKERS!

How to Make Snicker Salad

  1. cut up all fruit and place in a large bowl. Cut candy bars into bite sized pieces and add to fruit. Add the cool whip and mix well. In camp we served them in ice cream cones to make them portable.
  2. Notes: You can substitute milky way or twix, or even use m&ms.
  3. Note: Assorted fruits can be virtually anything. We have had girls bring apples, peaches, bananas, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, kiwi, orange sections, blueberries, and pineapples. The pineapple and orange acidity makes the cool whip break down faster...
