This is my favorite congealed salad. It has been in our family for a long time. My grandmother used to make this for special gatherings, like Christmas. We have passed this recipe to other family members and friends too.

Ingredients For russian salad

1 box

lime jello (small box)
3/4 c

boiling water
1 pkg

cream cheese
16 lg

marshmellows
1 c

bananas sliced, and halved
1/2 c

mayonnaise
1/2 c

canned milk
1 sm

can crushed pineapple
1 c

chopped nuts (pecans)
1 tsp

lemon juice

How To Make russian salad

Mix together lime jello, boiling water, cream cheese and marshmellows. Simmer until marshmellows are melted. Let cool.

When cool, pour into bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate over night.
