This is my favorite congealed salad. It has been in our family for a long time. My grandmother used to make this for special gatherings, like Christmas. We have passed this recipe to other family members and friends too.

Ingredients
- 1 box lime jello (small box)
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1 package cream cheese
- 16 large marshmellows
- 1 cup bananas sliced, and halved
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup canned milk
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make russian salad

Step 1Mix together lime jello, boiling water, cream cheese and marshmellows. Simmer until marshmellows are melted. Let cool.

Step 2When cool, pour into bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate over night.
