This is a very refreshing salad and don't let the buttermilk scare you away from making this delightful dish. Very tasty!

  • 15 1/2 oz
    can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 6 oz
    package orange gelatin
  • 2 c
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 12 oz
    carton whipped topping, thawed

How to Make Pineapple Orange Congealed Salad


  1. Place pineapple in saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Stir in buttermilk, coconut, and pecans; cool. Fold in whipped topping; pour into large bowl or 9 x 13" dish. Chill until firm.
