Ingredients

  • - 1 commercial pizza crust, 12 inch, such as boboli
  • - 1 t. olive oil
  • - 2 bosc pears, thinly sliced
  • - 1 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • - 1/4 cup walnut halves, toasted
  • - 1 1/2 to 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, 6 to 8 oz
  • - 4 cups mixed spring salad greens
  • - 1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • - 1/4 cup champagne vinaigrette

How To Make pear and gorgonzola salad pizza

  • Step 1
    Brush pizza crust with olive oil. Arrange pear slices in single layer over crust. Sprinkle with 1 cup gorgonzola cheese and the walnuts. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes or until cheeses are melted. Mix salad greens, 1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese and the vinaigrette in a bowl and toss to mix well. Sprinkle over the pizza. Cut into wedges to serve. Serves 8 Big Taste of Little Rock
