Ingredients

  • 2 c
    finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped apples
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 c
    crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 c
    coarsely broken pecans
  • 1 c
    sour cream or plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    maraschino cherry juice

How to Make OUT OF THIS WORLD SLAW

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the cabbage, apples, cherries and pineapple in a bowl. Fold in the pecans.
  2. For the dressing, whip the sour cream in a bowl until stiff; add the sugar, lemon juice and cherry juice. Beat until thoroughly blended. Fold into the slaw.
  3. Chill for 1 1/2 to 2 hours before serving.
