Cousin Craig Couch once dropped an entire salad bowl full of this during Christmas. The bowl shattered and jello went from the floor to the ceiling! A family Christmas to remember! This is about a 1948 picture of Omega and Ruth Ellen Huffman.

Ingredients

SALAD
1 large box of wild strawberry or plain strawberry jell-o
3-4 large bananas, sliced
1 large can crushed pineapple
10 ounces pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
TOPPING
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 - 1 cups sugar
8 ounces sour cream
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

How To Make omega's strawberry jello salad

Step 1

Dissolve Jell-O as directed on package. Cool and add sliced bananas, pineapple and thawed strawberries to Jell-O. Pour this mixture in large decorative salad bowl. Chill until jelled

Step 2

Combine and mix cream cheese, sugar and sour cream. Take chilled salad out of fridge and spread topping over salad. Top with chopped pecans and chill again
Step 3

Note: This can be served on lettuce leaf. Makes a great salad for Christmas...the color is perfect.
