My Mom used a lot of Cool Whip in her holiday dishes. This is my favorite from her cookbook.

Ingredients
- 1 can (16 ounces) whole cranberry sauce
- 1 can (8 ounces) well drained crushed pineapple
- 1 - mashed banana
- 6 - green marachino cherries, chopped, optional
- 1 package (12 ounces) whipped topping
How To Make mom's cranberry whip

Step 1Drain pineapple and cherries well. Mix all ingredients and chill thoroughly.

Step 2This can be served chilled or frozen in muffin tins lined with paper cupcake liners and served frozen. Garnish with whipped topping, if desired.

Step 3Green cherreis were a Christmas addition, just for color.
