This is a family recipe I got from my Mother-in-law, Lynn. Mert was Lynn's aunt & always made this during the holidays. It's become a tradition around our family as well...it's not Christmas without Mert's! I also make it for Easter sometimes. Mert's is so yummy & is wonderful as a side to any traditional holiday dinner or anytime of the year.

Ingredients For mert's pink stuff

1 cancherry pie filling (mashed)

1 canlarge can of crushed pineapple (drained)

1 caneagle brand milk

1 csmall marshmellows
-
1 ccoconut
-
1 cchopped pecans

1 pkgdefrosted container of cool whip
How To Make mert's pink stuff

1In a large bowl, mash cherry pie filling. Add each ingredient & mix well.

2Cover & chill for 4-6 hours.
