lucille's cranberry relish
(1 RATING)
My mother, Lucille, made this relish for as long as I can remember. She used the old metal food grinder that tightened to a table with a vise until she got her first food processor. Does that bring back any old memories?

How To Make lucille's cranberry relish
-
Step 1This is best done the day before it is needed. It is great as a leftover served on a turkey sandwich with lettuce.
-
Step 2Wash and throw out soft cranberries. Core the apple, and remove any seeds from the orange. Grind all of these in a food processor till fine, but not pureed. Mix all ingredients well and chill in a covered container.
-
Step 3Stir the mixture every hour till needed. Adjust the sweetness to your taste. Enjoy!
