kir royale fruit salad
This is a salad that I like to make during the Christmas holidays because of it's pretty jewel tones. However, my sister's boss gave her a bag of plums from his home a few days ago and she was nice enough to share some with me.

Ingredients
- 1 cup seedless watermelon, diced
- 2 - red plums, pitted and sliced
- 1 pint strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1 pint blackberries
- 1 pint blueberries
- 1 bunch red seedless grapes
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
- 1 cup sparkling wine, chilled
- 1/4 cup creme de cassis
- 1 - lemon peel cut into strips, for garnish
- 1 bunch fresh mint, for garnish
How To Make kir royale fruit salad

Step 1In a large bowl; combine all the fruit with the sparkling wine, creme de cassis, and lemon zest. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.

Step 2When ready to serve; drain fruit and garnish with lemon peel and mint.
