This fruit salad is wonderful served with ham. It has such a yummy smell and taste. I know you will enjoy it as so many others do. I'm serving it with ham at Christmas. Feel free to post your photo ! ***

Ingredients

  • 23 ounces jar of chunky applesauce
  • 22 ounces can - cherry pie filling
  • 20 ounces can - pineapple chunks, drained
  • 15 1/4 ounces can - sliced peaches, drained
  • 15 1/4 ounces can - apricot halves, drained
  • 15 ounces can - manderian oranges, drained
  • 15 1/4 ounces can - sliced pears, drained
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup pecans, in pieces

How To Make hot fruit salad

  • Step 1
    PREHEAT OVEN @ 350 degrees F. In a 9"x13" glass baking dish, pour apple sauce in a single layer. Place drained peaches as second layer, pears on top of peaches, apricot halves on top of pears, oranges next, and then pineapple chunks.
  • Step 2
    Pour the cherry pie filling over fruits as smooth as you can to cover pan of fruits.
  • Step 3
    Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecan pieces. Sprinkle over top of cherry pie filling.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 degrees preheated oven 45-60 minutes. Serve with ham or whatever your heart desires.
