A custardy, fruity wonderful salad. No wonder it was called heavenly!

vinegar

pineapple syrup

whipped cream
2 c

seedless grapes

Cook yolks, sugar, salt, vinegar and butter in double boiler until thick. Cool. Fold in remaining ingredients. Refrigerate overnight. If desired, add bananas just before serving.
