Hawaiian Fruit Salad

3 oz
package orange gelatin
3 oz
package lemon gelatin
1 c
boiling water
11 oz
canned mandarin oranges
20 oz
canned crushed pineapple
1 pkg
mini marshmallows
8 oz
whipped topping
1 c
1 c
grated sharp cheddar cheese


1Drain and reserve the juice of the canned fruit.
2Dissolve gelatin in cup of boiling water.
3Add juice from drained fruits.
4Add fruit to mixture; stir and pour into flat glass casserole dish.
5Cover the top with marshmallows.
6Refrigerate the salad to congeal.
7Fold mayonnaise into the whipped cream and spread over the top of the marshmallows.
8Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top of the salad.
9Refrigerate until serving.
