Ingredients

  • 3 ounces package orange gelatin
  • 3 ounces package lemon gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 11 ounces canned mandarin oranges
  • 20 ounces canned crushed pineapple
  • 1 package mini marshmallows
  • 8 ounces whipped topping
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make hawaiian fruit salad

  • Step 1
    Drain and reserve the juice of the canned fruit.
  • Step 2
    Dissolve gelatin in cup of boiling water.
  • Step 3
    Add juice from drained fruits.
  • Step 4
    Add fruit to mixture; stir and pour into flat glass casserole dish.
  • Step 5
    Cover the top with marshmallows.
  • Step 6
    Refrigerate the salad to congeal.
  • Step 7
    Fold mayonnaise into the whipped cream and spread over the top of the marshmallows.
  • Step 8
    Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top of the salad.
  • Step 9
    Refrigerate until serving.
