Ingredients

  • 9 1/2 c
    unpeeled, diced red delicious apples
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 c
    seedless green grapes cut in half
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c
    raisins
  • 1 c
    salad dressing
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 c
    whipping cream
  • 1 c
    flaked coconut
  • 1 c
    miniature marshmallows

How to Make Harvest Apple Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine apple and 2 tablespoons lemon juice in a large bowl; toss gently. Add celery, grapes, walnuts, and raisins; toss gently to combine. Set aside.
  2. Combine salad dressing, sugar and 1 teaspoon lemon juice in a medium bowl; stir well. Set aside.
  3. Beat whipping cream at high speed of an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into reserved salad dressing mixture. Add whipped cream mixture to reserved apple mixture, stirring gently to combine. Stir in flaked coconut and marshmallows. Cover salad, and chill thoroughly.
