This is one of those tastes I recognize from my childhood when my grandfather would segment the grapefruits by hand. I take the easy way and use the grapefruit in juice. Tasty either way. My daughter is fixing it for our Christmas day celebration. I will post pictures soon.

Ingredients

1 lg jar(s)
grapefruit, sectioned, drained
2 15 oz can(s)
mandarin oranges, in own juice, do not drain
15 oz can(s)
pineapple, crushed
8 oz jar(s)
maraschino cherries
1 cup
coconut, flaked

How to Make Grandpa's Ambrosia

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix all ingredients together. Add enough of the marachino juice to tint the liquid pink. Refridgerate for as long as you can stand to. Serve and enjoy!!!
