Ingredients

  • 2- 3 oz packages orange gelatin (sugar-free preferred)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1- 6 oz cans frozen orange juice
  • 1 -16 oz can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1-20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1- 3 oz packages vanilla or french vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make golden autumn salad

  • Step 1
    Mix together the milk, cream and cheddar cheese; set aside.
  • Step 2
    Stir gelatin into boiling water until dissolved. Add frozen orange juice and stir until melted. Pour into 9x13 baking dish; add pineapple and oranges then cover and chill until set.
  • Step 3
    Prepare pudding according to directions, using only 1 1/2 cups milk. Let it stand for 5 minutes. Then fold into whipped cream. Spread over the top of the set gelatin; then sprinkle with cheese. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or until ready to serve.
