How to Make "Gifta" Salad (Cranberries & Cream)
- Boil Cranberries in 1 Cup water until skins 'pop'.
- Add Sugar and bring to a boil, chill thoroughly.
- Just before serving, mixed crushed saltines with melted butter.
- Whip cream, i whip mine so its stiff.
- Cover bottom of clear glass bowl with a layer of cracker/butter crumbs (half the crumbs)
- Layer on half the cooled cranberries, then a layer of whipped cream.
- Repeat layers in same order.
