This is my version of a Waldorf salad. It does not last long at our house!

Ingredients For nan's fruit salad

3 - 4 lgapples, chopped; red delicious, Granny Smiths, or a mix (3 1/2 - 4 cups)

1 1/4 cchopped celery
-
1 1/4 cchopped walnuts

1/3 craisins
-
1 tspground cinnamon
-
1 tspeither apple or pumpkin pie spice

2 cprepared whipped cream
-
3/4 cwhipped cream cheese, like plain or mixed berry

1 Tbspvanilla extract
How To Make nan's fruit salad

1Peel and chop apples and celery.

2Chop walnuts and add them to the apples along with the raisins. Toss together.

3Add spices and toss.

4In a separate bowl, mix the whipped cream, cream cheese, and vanilla.

5Add the whipped cream mixture to the apple mixture.

6Mix together.

7Cover and chill 15 - 20 minutes or so before serving. Sprinkle a little cinnamon or apple pie spice on top for garnish.
