My mother has always made this for Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. We have never really cared for cranberry sauce out of a can. So this is what we do for the holidays. It is great spooned on Turkey, cool and refreshing, what we love to do is later at night have a bowl of it for a snack. I hope you enjoy it. Fresh is best...This is best prepared the night before for chilling and set purposes...

Ingredients

  • 1 package gelatin, lemon
  • 1 package gelatin, raspberry
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 medium oranges (washed)
  • 4 cups cranberries, fresh
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

How To Make fresh cranberry salad

  • Step 1
    Best prepared the night before*** Food Process on chop: Cranberries, Oranges with Peel, Celery, Pecans. Add Sugar and mix well. After you have processed these items set bowl in refrigerator to chill while you prepare the Gelatin.
  • Step 2
    Boil water mix in both packages of gelatin, stir till all is dissolved. Now you may add the two mixtures together and chill...Stir before serving..Enjoy
