Festive Fruit Salad
1 20 oz can(s)pineapple chunks
3 Tbspall-purpose flour
1egg, lightly beaten
2 11 oz can(s)mandarin oranges, drained
1 20 oz can(s)pears, drained and chopped
3kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
2 largeunpeeled apples, chopped
1 cpecan halves
How to Make Festive Fruit Salad
- Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
Pour pineapple juice into a small saucepan. Add sugar and flour. Bring to a boil. Quickly stir in egg. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat and cool.
- In a large bowl, combine pineapple, oranges, pears, kiwi, apples, and pecans. Pour the dressing over the fruit and blend well. Cover. Chill before serving.
